Firs,t congratulations on your promotion. It's nice to know that someone really enjoys their job. I also read where you encourage innovation. Well here's one. I noticed on my trip this september that most of the visitors were middle aged or maybe a little more. The only thing missing at my favorite lodge, Mckinley, was music. In the lounge area where the coffee bar is located was a TV and a couple of pub style tables and stools and plenty of chairs for people to lounge in. There was enough room there to put a small riser about halfway betwen the TV and the rest of area with a small dance floor for after dinner listening and dancing. A small band playing the oldies like "Paper Doll", 'I'll be seeing you", 'You belong to me". etc., the music of the older set, would have been wonderful. On board the Princess Cruise their were bands playing all over the ship but nothing on land. Let me know what you think of my idea. I'd appreciate "hearing" from you.. Sincerely, Joe V. Hello Mindy. I am ready to go anytime and see what awaits the travelers who come to Alaska and what I can add to their experience there.
